Through the selection of the Fourth Young Teachers Teaching Competition of Shanghai University of Engineering and Technology, two teachers of our college entered the preparation stage of the 2022 Shanghai Young Teachers Lecture Competition. They are Mr. Li Tingxiao and Mr. Yang Shu from the Department of Textile Engineering. In order to help the two young teachers better prepare for the competition, the college specially organized a team of experts to guide the two participating teachers throughout the process.
At the beginning of April, the college arranged an expert team for the two participating teachers, which was composed of Professor Xin Binjie, Deputy Dean of Teaching of our school, Professor Wang Liming, Head of the Department of Textile Engineering, Associate Professor Zheng Yuansheng and Associate Professor Liu Qian, etc., and formed a WeChat group with the participating teachers to facilitate guidance and communication at any time.
During the months of preparation, the participating teachers and the guiding experts have always kept close communication and contact, and discussed the ideological and political elements and curriculum design of the course together when they were free, and conducted the grinding and speaking together. The guidance experts also provided materials and guidance for the two teachers to help them meet the Shanghai Youth Education Competition in a better manner.
