On the afternoon of November 11th, the College of Textile and Clothing invited Prof. Zhang Keqin, Dean of the School of Textile and Clothing Engineering, Soochow University, to conduct the National Natural Science Foundation application guidance and academic exchange meeting. Xin Binjie, Dean of the College, young teachers, academic backbone and some graduate students attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Vice President Qu Hongjian.
The conference was divided into two parts. In the first half, Professor Zhang Keqin gave a special lecture on "Stimulation-responsive color-changing fiber materials", introducing the preparation method of stimulation-responsive color-changing fiber materials and its application in textile and clothing, fashion industry, military and national defense, etc. In the second half, Professor Zhang combined his rich academic experience. This paper introduces in detail the writing methods and precautions of the fund declaration from five aspects: "What to do", "why to do", "how to do", "why to do" and "what to do".
At the meeting, some teachers had in-depth exchanges with Professor Zhang on topics, innovation points, application codes and other specific issues. President Xin Binjie also exchanged views with President Zhang Keqin on important issues such as the cultivation of young teachers' academic ability and the development trend of textile disciplines at home and abroad. Both sides indicated that academic exchanges and cooperation should be strengthened in the future.
So far, the school has held four fund application exchange meetings. Through active integration of resources inside and outside the school, the school has provided practical help for teachers applying, broadened their academic vision and improved their writing ability.
