The National Natural Science Foundation project of 2023 national scientific research project of Textile and Clothing College has been launched, and the college will organize, stage by stage and focus on the key project application work. In order to further improve the quality of teacher applications, Professor Li Goyang from Shanghai Jiao Tong University was invited to give a special lecture on the afternoon of October 25, 2022. Professor Xin Binjie, Dean of the College of Textile and Clothing, and key teachers of the college attended the lecture.
Professor Li Goyang, professor of School of Materials, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, doctoral supervisor and teaching supervisor, has been engaged in the research of thin film and metal matrix composite materials for a long time, published more than 300 high-level papers, presided over the completion of 4 National Natural Science Foundation projects, and served as the fund application consultant of School of Materials, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, with rich experience in fund application. Professor Li first explained how to put forward the scientific problems behind the national needs. Combined with the outline of the declaration, he analyzed in detail the key points and matters needing attention when writing the title, abstract, project basis, feasibility study and other contents, analyzed with examples, and put forward suggestions on the thoughts and attitudes of the national fund application. After the report, Professor Li had a heated discussion with the teachers on how to clarify the scientific problems.
This lecture will play an important role in effectively creating a good academic atmosphere, guiding young and middle-aged backbone teachers to apply for national self-education projects and improving the quality of fund application of the school. The school will invite well-known scholars at home and abroad to conduct relevant lectures, exchanges and guidance in an orderly manner in the future, and organize regular centralized discussions among teachers to improve the success rate of project application.
