On May 21, 2021, the Department of Fashion Design and Engineering held a symposium for 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020 undergraduate students respectively in Room A201 of the Art Building. Qu Hongjian, dean of the department, presided over the conference, and Xia Lei, deputy dean of the department, and representatives from all undergraduate classes attended the conference.
During the symposium, Mr. Qu Hongjian first introduced the purpose and importance of the symposium to the student representatives and then communicated with the undergraduate representatives on the training program, curriculum system, graduation requirements, student employment, and other aspects of fashion design and engineering major. The students attending the symposium expressed their opinions and suggestions on the development prospects of the major, the understanding of training programs, the problems existing in the courses they have taken, the current employment situation, and other aspects. Through the symposium, we understand the fashion design and engineering major students of all grades of professional understanding of the degree, take courses, especially the professional courses. Also understand the senior students' graduation design, the current employment situation, and some answers were given to the questions raised by the students.
