The fashion design and engineering major of textile and fashion institute held the graduation design (thesis) work summary seminar of 2021 in art building C210 on May 14, 2021. The meeting was presided over by Professor Qu Hongjian, director of fashion design and engineering major. Professor Xie Hong, dean of textile and fashion institute, and professor Li Yanmei, vice dean of textile and fashion institute attended the meeting and guided the improvement direction of the graduation project (thesis) work. The graduation project (thesis) instructors of fashion design and engineering major all attended the meeting.
Firstly, professor Qu Hongjian, dean of the department, explained the overall situation of the graduation project (thesis), and from the aspects of topic selection, guidance method, research method selection, research results application, and so on to discuss the graduation project (thesis) problems existing in students majoring in marketing, so that the improvement measures are further clarified. Secondly, professor Song Xiaoxia, the leader of the team, discussed the problems existing in brand research, process details, finished product shooting, and other aspects of the overall situation of the graduation design (thesis) of Ready to wear major. Then, dean Professor Xie Hong summarized the overall situation of the graduation project (thesis) in a digital direction. Finally, Dean Xie Hong further proposed that the graduation design (thesis) of fashion design and engineering major should disassemble the graduation design (thesis) problems based on the graduation demands of undergraduate students, construct normative management processes and implementation methods, and deepen the in-depth communication between instructors and enterprises. The graduation project (thesis) needs to solve the practical problems of the garment industry to train talents. At the end of the meeting, instructors from all directions discussed the above problems in-depth and made clear the continuous improvement plan for the next stage.
