Milan's New Academy of Fine Arts (Italian Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti di MILANO, NABA) is located in the city of Milan, the capital of the Lombardy region in northwest Italy.

Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) is a comprehensive university located in Liverpool, England, and its name is in honor of John Moores, a well-known British businessman. The school originated from the Liverpool Institute of Technical Arts, founded in 1823, which was originally a small scale engineering college. After hundreds of years of growth and integration, different institutions were merged to become the Liverpool Institute of Technology in 1970. In 1992, the Further and Higher Education Act of the British Government promoted the status of a university, and took the new name of Liverpool John Moores University.
Due to its history dating back to the early 19th century, many of the buildings are Georgian or Victorian. As a teaching and research university with a history of 200 years, it is one of the creative members of the Northern Association of Universities.
John Moores University has developed a series of close research and teaching collaborations with the neighbouring University of Liverpool, carrying out undergraduate and postgraduate joint training programs in a number of fields including linguistics, space physics, computer science, mathematics and education.
In the Global Sports academic ranking of Soft Science, it is evaluated as the top sports university in the UK, the 9th in the world. (Shanghai University of Sport ranks 51-100 and Beijing Sport University ranks 201-300 in the world). In addition, its engineering teaching and research enjoys an excellent reputation in the UK.
